Cycle from Kilkenny City on the 'Sion Road' on your way to the beautiful village of Bennettsbridge.

 

While you are in Bennettsbridge you can visit some local craft producers like Moth To A Flame candle makers and Nicholas Mosse Pottery. There isn't a charge if you wish to see the pottery making process.

 

Your bikes can be locked up and left at the village pump outside Tynan's Butcher Shop and they will be retrieved.

 

If you are looking for a typical Irish bar in the centre of the village with a really nice lunch menu then the Corner House local pub is the best option for you.

 

If you are cycling back to the city from Bennettsbridge be sure to allow 45-50 minutes to cycle back. If you are opting for the walking option, give yourself 2 Hours & 10 Minutes for the return journey as you walk along the stunning Nore Valley River Walk.
