Explore this mystical spot while looking for clues to solve puzzles with the interactive booklet. Visit the Fairy Village and don’t forget to make a wish in the fairy wishing chair. Watch imaginations come to life fairy filled paradise.

A perfect place for a homemade picnic or grab something tasty from the Avoca food hall.

The Fairy Trail is suitable for children of all ages and is a perfect way to spend a day out with all the family! This trail will take you around 1hr and 15mins to complete. You’ll be away with the fairies after 1.8km …so bring your walking shoes!

Butterfly House

Make sure you visit Irelands one and only Butterfly House too! You will be absolutely mesmerized by the hundreds of beautiful butterflies fluttering around the stunning Cambridge Glasshouse located just beyond the walled garden. Feel free to pick up an information guide about all the different species at reception!

Getting to Malahide Gardens

Malahide Castle is located just outside the village of Malahide in County Dublin.

Bus

You can take Dublin Bus Routes 32 and 42 to Malahide Castle - the bus stop here is less than 200 metres from the Castle. For more information on Dublin Bus routes, visit dublinbus.ie. There is also a direct bus from Dublin Airport to Malahide village on route number 102, this is operated by Go-Ahead.

DART

The castle is approximately a ten minute walk from Malahide Station.

Attractions closeby include the magnificent Casino Model Railway Museum.
