What can I expect

  • Experience authentic 18th Century living
  • Witness the oldest piece of Waterford Crystal dated back to 1789
  • Meet the Housekeeper and unlock the secrets of the beautiful Georgian Building

Step inside Waterford’s elegant Bishop’s Palace, a Georgian townhouse turned museum, and embark on the immersive Bridgerton Tour.

With the Bishop away, guests are guided by a costumed Housekeeper or Butler, unveiling the hidden scandals and whispers that once played out within the walls.

Dive into scandalous tales, forbidden romances, bitter rivalries and even a foul murder - otherwise disguised beneath the Georgian perfection.

This engaging storytelling brings to life the very real social dramas that once defined Waterford’s high society. Visitors also enjoy exhibits such as the oldest surviving piece of Waterford crystal, and rare items like the Bonaparte mourning cross and local historical portraits that echo the medieval times.
